Crowne Plaza Hotel

Hobart, Tasmania

The Crowne Plaza Hotel project encompassed design development, construction documentation, and interior design coordination for a $65M, 9-storey hotel development, built above the Icon Complex in the Hobart CBD, which incorporates a Myer department store.

Our project scope involved documentation and Site Architect for 235 hotel rooms, front of house including public areas, and back of house. Works also included the restoration and refurbishment of an adjoining, 3-storey heritage building – the guest entry to the hotel on the upper floors. Additionally, BPSM is carrying out the design and documentation of the roof-level “Aura” sky bar, on level 12.

This was documented and constructed in parallel.
