Mt Mawson Construction – Clear Weather

The weather over Mt Field National Park cleared for our last site visit, presenting a spectacular view of the Park and the construction works on the Mount Mawson shelters. 

The visitors day shelter and ski patrol facilities are nearing ever closer to the finish line with the works progressing well, considering the recent dump of snow on the site causing difficulties for both construction, and the delivery of materials. The roofs are now complete on both structures, allowing the installation of the linings and interior fitout to begin.
