Mount Mawson Public Shelters in Construction

The Mount Mawson public shelters project has entered construction, going up rapidly in the last few weeks, in a race against the oncoming winter.

This weeks’ site visit shows the framing and exterior walls have already gone up, in preparation for roofing. Efforts have been made to limit damage to the flora on the site, with protective sheeting laid out to on some sensitive areas, to protect and promote growth.
